The 2025 edition of Girlsday237<\/strong> is officially announced. On March 21, 2025<\/strong>, nine primary schools<\/strong> will take part in this unique science day in Yaound\u00e9<\/strong>. The initiative, supported by Girlsday237 e.V., aims to introduce young girls to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics)<\/strong> through interactive workshops, practical challenges and inspiring encounters<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

? The 9 schools confirmed for this edition<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This year, nine schools have been selected<\/strong> to take on the STEM challenge. Students will have the opportunity to discover science in a hands-on way, develop critical thinking skills and explore careers in STEM<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An innovative program to discover STEM in a different way<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Throughout the day, students will present their projects.<\/strong> Scientific experiments will be carried out by participants under the supervision of their teachers. Technical projects will apply key concepts in mathematics, physics, engineering and technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An event designed to encourage scientific vocations<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Despite advances, young girls are still under-represented in scientific fields<\/strong>. Girlsday237's objective is clear: create an environment where they feel legitimate and capable of succeeding in these fields<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For this reason, female role models from STEM fields will be on hand to share their experiences and answer participants' questions<\/strong>. Through these exchanges, awareness will be fostered<\/strong>, and new ambitions may be born.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
