The winners of the Girlsday237 edition of March 2026 had an experience that was as inspiring as it was enriching. On Tuesday, May 12 and Wednesday, May 13, the students had the opportunity to visit CFAO Mobility in Yaoundé, as part of STEM career exploration activities.
For two days, the participants discovered a concrete, modern, and dynamic professional environment. This immersion allowed them to better understand the realities of the automotive, technology, and applied engineering sectors.
A concrete immersion in the professional world
Upon their arrival, the girls were welcomed by the CFAO Mobility teams. Several workspaces were then presented to them to introduce them to different technical and technological professions.
The participants were able to observe how the workshops operate, discover some equipment, and interact with industry professionals. This proximity to the field made the experience particularly memorable.
