Girlsday237 e.V. is committed to encouraging children and young people – especially girls – to get interested in mathematics, computer science, the natural sciences and technology (MINT) at an early age.
Through hands-on educational projects, competitions and events, we encourage curiosity, creativity, self-confidence and access to technical and scientific subjects.

3. Information about the tax benefit

Girlsday237 e.V. is recognized by the tax authorities as a non-profit organization and exclusively and directly pursues non-profit purposes within the meaning of §§ 51 ff. of the Tax Code (AO).

The association is entitled to issue receipts for donations and membership fees. The association's funds are used exclusively for the tax-exempt purposes set out in the statutes.

6. Personal structure

Girlsday237 e.V. works mainly on a voluntary basis. The association currently does not employ any full-time staff members.
The work of the association is supported by the volunteer board and by volunteers in Germany and Cameroon. They contribute, among other things, to the organization and implementation of our educational projects, to cooperation with schools, to communication, and to the support of our activities.

7. Information on the source of funds

The financing of the association is provided in particular by:

  • Donations
  • Project-related support
  • Funding
  • Membership fees

The association deliberately maintains a lean organizational structure to ensure that funds are channelled directly into projects.

8. Information on the use of funds

The funds of Girlsday237 e.V. are used exclusively for the purposes stipulated in the association's statutes. These include in particular:

  • the planning and implementation of educational and STEM projects
  • the procurement of materials for the projects
  • the organization of competitions, workshops and events
  • Prices and awards for female participants
  • Project-related logistics and transport costs
  • Communication and Public Relations
  • necessary administrative and organizational costs

The vast majority of the club's work is carried out on a voluntary basis.

9. Corporate legal relationship with third parties

Girlsday237 e.V. is legally separate from any other organizations.

10. Names of individuals whose annual contribution exceeds 10 % % of the total annual budget

In the 2025 reporting year, there were no contributions from natural or legal persons that amounted to more than 10 % % of the association's total annual income.
